We met in Seattle, the city we chose for graduate school,

which then became the city we fell in love in.

Our coming together was unexpected. We had no friends in common, different career paths, he played hockey, she played soccer, he spoke French, she spoke Spanish, he loved math, she did not. But a night of trivia and Karaoke brought us together forever.
